Started by SuperPep•I’ve read a lot of people saying you have to use PBS to reconstitute ARA-290, but then others say BAC water works fine. I can’t find a good source for PBS. Can I just use the BAC water I already have?
You can, but it may or may not work. Good quality ARA-290 will recon with BAC just fine. On the flip side, if it fails this is a good way to measure if your vendor sucks....
I vote for the PBS. Using Bac resulted in multiple vials from multiple vendors causing clumping/precipitation for me. With the PBS and gentle agitation to disperse the clumps I saw none of that.
You can also buy PBS from Amazon. Totally safe to do so unlike Bac water, which I believe they pulled all the listings anyway.
