New to peptides

Started by Boston Rob

I'm new to peptides, but very interested in starting my journey and this site looks like a great resource.

I've gained a little bit of weight now that I'm in my 40s, so looking to shed this "dad bod" and maybe help put on some muscle as I just started lifting weights again. I've read about CJC no dac with Ipa. Also looked into IGF-LR3 (might have the name incorrect), but I think that one scares me.

Based on the above, anyone have some advice or experience to share?

Let me be the first to welcome you.

My recommendation would be to start with Reta or Tirz to help shed that dad bod. Those are the current kings of weight loss and have a good safety profile. Since you are new to the peptide world, don't go stacking compounds right away. You need to start slowly and assess things. Plus if you encounter any sides, you need to know which compound caused it.

Muscle loss with Reta is real. You want to start on low doses and titrate up. Taking more than you body can handle at first will cause you to under eat, feel like shit, and cause further muscle loss.

Lets say you get a few weeks into Reta and things are going well. You started at 500mcg and up to 1mg. You want to add CJC no w/ IPA. Great call. This will help further with some muscle preservation by raising IGF1. Just be careful with this name as it has been known to cause some side effects beyond the injection site reactions. Anytime you start a new compound you want to ease into it.

Other compounds to consider would be MOTS-c and NAD+. I love MOTS-c once you have your foundation in order (diet, workout routine, sleep), but its another one you have to careful with b/c of serious reactions.

You may also want to consider some sleep peptides, like DSIP.

I'll have to research DSIP. Have not read up on that one yet. Any others worth investigating for sleep?

Also, I was looking at the price index page earlier. Any particular vendor you recommend or just pick the lowest price?

Any vendor in the price index is good. If you're looking for Reta, I'd go with Virtus, Southern Aminos, then Crush. All are good though.

As for sleep, it just depends on what you need help with specifically. DSIP is for deep sleep and does well keeping you asleep. Epitalon is one of my favorite peptides and it should be used right before bed to reset your circadian rhythm. Those would be the main two in my opinion.

Cool. I just grabbed some Reta + DSIP from Nextgen as they were the cheapest after promo code. I used your stack builder / calculator tool and that is fucking awesome. Excuse my french 😂

After you get your products and do a little research, don't forget to leave them an honest review 👍
