For the reconstitution, it mostly requires some acetic acid. I recommend this ratio: 0.5 mL of 0.6% acetic acid solution + 2 mL Hospira BAC water. I've seen some vials do okay with 3 mL bacteriostatic water if the vial is 5mg or less, but the risk of gelling is there. This is why you need some acetic acid. Also, you want to start with the acetic acid first, then add the bac water.

Last piece is that I wouldn't shake this vial. I'm one person who says that shaking your peptides is BS, and it largely is with a few rare exceptions and AOD-9604 is one of those exceptions. Handle this pain of a peptide with care.

My first vial of AOD-9604 gelled up. Little did I know at the time that BAC water wasn't good enough. Lesson learned. Tossed it.

I've never used AOD-9604 before, but I've seen posts where people wrote that if you add some acetic acid to a gelled vial that it will recover. No idea if this is true.
