Antihistamine gel

Been running MOTS-c (reconstituted with BAC) and was getting the usual injection-site welts, redness, and little bumps that would stick around for a day or two.
Tried applying Benadryl Extra Strength Itch Relief Gel (2% diphenhydramine) a few minutes before pinning and it made a huge difference. Way less redness, almost no welts, and the bumps are minimal to non-existent now.
Just a thin layer on the site, let it sit a couple minutes, then pin as normal. Simple and effective so far.

Anyone else tried topical Benadryl (or similar antihistamine gel/cream) pre-injection for MOTS-c or other peptides that tend to cause local reactions?
